Director of Operations - Edmond Chamber of Commerce

Kristen King serves as the Director of Operations at the Edmond Chamber of Commerce. Kristen grew up in Piedmont, Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma Christian University where she graduated with a degree in Marketing Management in November of 2020. 

Through Kristen’s time at Oklahoma Christian University, she was a proud member of Gamma Rho and worked as the Marketing and Events Intern at the Edmond Chamber.  Stars aligned when it was time to graduate from Oklahoma Christian to step into a full- time role with the Edmond Chamber in December of 2020, managing events and programs. 

Since starting full-time, her role has developed into the Director of Operations where she organizes the chamber’s annual events, coordinates the small business and women’s programming, runs the Edmond Young Professionals program, and works with the Total Resource Campaign. Kristen received the Next Gen Under 30 award in the non-profit category in 2022 and received the Oklahoma Christian University Outstanding Young Alumna Award in 2023. In 2024, she was on the Journal Record’s Achievers Under 40 list. She is also a graduate of Leadership Edmond Class 37. 

Kristen is married to Brendan King, who teaches and coaches basketball at The Academy of Classical Christian Studies, and they have a goldendoodle named Nike.
