Fighting Corruption in Western Oklahoma
William S. (Bill) Price was an attorney in the Litigation Department of the Phillip Murrah law firm. He continues to run his family oil and natural gas business.
 
Bill received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and his law degree from the University of Oklahoma.
 
He served as an Assistant to Judge Alfred P. Murrah. Bill was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Western District of Oklahoma 1975-1982 and the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma 1982-1989. In 1990, Bill was the Republican Nominee for Governor. Bill has received numerous honors and awards for his prosecution of the County Commissioner corruption scandal, the largest political corruption case in the nation's history, and for his work in drug prevention in founding the Oklahoma Alliance Against Drugs.
 
Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Bill lives there with his wife, Mary. Bill and Mary are active members of Christ the King Catholic Church. They have two daughters, a son, and four grandchildren. Bill is a passionate and committed member of the community. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and helping youth, especially the disadvantaged on boards such as Shiloh, a Christian camp for underprivileged kids which he helped found. Bill was a founding Board Chairman of Cristo Rey Oklahoma City, a new Catholic high-school school for disadvantaged kids. Bill also served as a member of the Oklahoma State Board of Education and the State Career Tech Board. As Chairman of the Oklahoma School Choice Coalition and an active Trustee of the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs (OCPA), a free enterprise think tank, he has been instrumental in helping pass education reform legislation in Oklahoma.
