Edmond Arts Festival - Get your kicks on Route 66 Arts Festival May 1-3
Michelle Schaefer has been the chair of the Downtown Edmond Arts Festival since 2021, reimagining the 48 year old festival into an award winning event that is larger, more family friendly and profitable for the downtown merchants. The festival has won several awards from the International Festival and Events Association, and in 2024 won a Merit Award from the Oklahoma Tourism Commission in the Outstanding Event category statewide. She is a member of the Edmond Chamber, Edmond Summit Rotary and a leader in the Downtown Edmond Mix and Mingle. In her spare time she is a mild mannered Medicare agent whose hobbies are gardening, square dancing and trying to solve the Wordle puzzle in less than four lines.
