STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education is of vital importance to Edmond, The State of

Oklahoma , and the USA.  The Rotary Club of Edmond, District 5750 and Rotary International  provided financial support

for robotics equipment to Edmond Cimarron Middle School so that they will be able to train more students, more effectively, in their Project Lead The

Way (PLTW) program, Gateway to Technology. The activities will take place at Edmond Cimarron Middle

School during the normal school day as part of their curriculum; and, will allow students to get sponsored

and compete in local, regional, national and international robotics competitions representing Edmond and

Oklahoma and the USA. The beneficiaries are the students, their future employers and the other students

who they inspire to get involved in STEM education. We will assist Edmond Middle School to send teams of their

students to various competitions and work with educators, parents and interested students to promote STEM education in Oklahoma.
