Based out of the University of Central Oklahoma, Expresso Rotaract Club will be sponsoring a school-supply drive from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 16, at UCO’s Nigh University Center in Room 107.
Volunteers will be making goody bags specifically for 18 students at Arbor Grove Elementary School in Oklahoma City.
Pizza and drinks will be provided. Also, they are accepting donations of new school supplies which will be donated to Edmond and Oklahoma City schools. The drive will continue through April 30. Donations may be dropped off on campus at Suite 200 of the Center for Transformative Learning building; the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, second floor in the Nigh Building; or on the first floor of the Education Building.
About Edmond Expresso Rotaract:
A branch of the Edmond Rotary Club, the Edmond Expresso Rotaract meets at the Starbucks in the Nigh University Center and brings together adults ages 18-30 to take action in their communities, develop their leadership and professional skills and have fun.
