Darin Kent is the OKC Metro Market President of Regent Bank and has been an Edmond resident since 2004. He received both a Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree from Missouri State University, where he was a four-year letterman and all-conference selection as a diver. Darin also was the inaugural recipient of the "Darin Kent Award." He was an honors graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado and has served as the Alumni Director for the state of Oklahoma. In Oklahoma, Darin has stayed very involved in the community. He just completed his term as the 2013 Chairman of the Edmond Chamber of Commerce, is a past President and current board member of the Fine Arts Institute of Edmond, is a director for the Oklahoma Foundation of Excellence Board and a member of the OKC Museum of Art Film Committee. He was previously selected as one of the Edmond Sun's 20 under 35, was the 2011 Tayo Fichtl Edmond Young Professional of the Year and was named one of Journal Records 2013 Achievers Under 40. Darin is a multiple past co-chair of the Youth Leadership Edmond program, a past Executive member of the Edmond Public School Foundation Board of Trustees, and a previous board member for both Kickingbird Tennis and the Oklahoma Bankers Association Commercial Lending School. He is also a current member of the Rotary Club 29, the 2014 Chairman for the Chamber's Total Resource Campaign and a Leadership Edmond class XXI and Oklahoma Bankers Association Leadership graduate. Darin was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and enjoys all aspects of athletics and competition. Before starting his career in banking, he had a sports interview show in Springfield and had the pleasure of interviewing Hall of Fame and all-time baseball great Hank Aaron. Darin married his wife Tyler in May 2004, and they have a daughter (Ryan) and a son (Drew).
